det finaste jag fått

när jag slutade på soppköket i kapstaden fick jag ett brev. jag har lovat mig själv att spara det brevet för mig själv tills en dag då jag verkligen behöver bli uppmuntrad. idag är en sån dag. Hittade brevet. här är det:

For the two past months Ms Tania Carlson Sincic Has assisted daily in The Arch, wich is the Cathredal Outreach project to the homeless people living on the streets of Cape Town. From 9.00 am until about 1.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays the facility is open for the serving of food and to provide brief shelter for these people.

Ms Sincic has proved to be faithful in attendance, and has worked on an entiraly voluntary basis. She has helped with the serving of food, relating well and easily to those who receive it, and has also been willing to turn her hand on other general tasks. When children have been present she has played with them and encouraged them to express themselves artistically in drawing. She and her colleague also organised a drawing competition. She has built up a good relationship with the people, dealing with them pleasantly and appropriatly.

In our suop kitchen we employ three staff members to whom Ms Sincic has related well to, working with them harmoniously and efficiently. They have enjoyed her company and are grateful for the assistance she has given them.

Ms Sincic has shown herself to be a responsible, capable and caring person, and a hard worker. She has contributed well towards the succesful operation of our project during her stay in Cape Town, and we shall all miss her. We appreciate all she has done for us, and we wish her everything of the best in the future.
